I grew up in Helsinki, Finland.
Resident in Denmark since the 60’ies. Danish citizen.
Master of Arts in Spanish philology, University of Copenhagen. Magister Universitario in Hispanic Literature, IVCH. Has worked as a teacher of Spanish at Copenhagen Business School and at different high schools. I have translated several Spanish books to Danish.
Today I work as a writer and have published 8 books (fiction and non-fiction)
With my husband, Sten Jacobsen, I am the co-owner of the publishing house Apuleius’ Æsel: www.apuleius.dk
I worked for many years as a freelance journalist for the Finnish newspaper Kaleva and other both Danish and Spanish magazines and newspapers.
I have studied the Spanish dramatist and author Fernando Arrabal‘s works and have published a book about him in Spain, El tenor al dios Pan.
